Except for the railings, I really like this side of the building. It adds a nice "rhythm" to the streetscape.
I don't want to start railing against those railings, but I'm also not crazy about them. I'm a bit bummed about it because I still think a simple "fire escape" kind of style should tend to work well on new urban lowrise residential buildings such as this. Thus, I'm not exactly sure why these railings don't quite do it for me. It may well be because the rest of the building is interesting enough that you expect the railings to also have a bit of distinction.
I also wonder what the railings would look like if they were painted a different colour. Anyway, it's a minor thing.
