The final phase of James Bay’s Capital Park mixed-use office, retail and residential development hits the market next month with 113-suites of condominiums and townhomes.

Comprised of 106 one, two and three-bedroom homes with layouts also offering plus-den and penthouse configurations, Capital Park Residences’ condominiums will be targeted at a wide market spectrum in search of ownership opportunities in a centrally located, lowrise concrete building. Living spaces will range from 473 square feet to 1,927 square feet with pricing started at $469,900.

In addition to condominiums, seven ground-oriented townhomes with two and three-bedroom floorplans (sized between 1,443 and 1,757 square feet) will round out the unit mix. Pricing wil start at $1,479,900.

As the third and final phase of Jawl Properties' and Concert Properties' Capital Park development, Capital Park Residences will be situated along Michigan Street at site's southern perimeter. Construction is expected to get underway later this year or by early 2019 with completion in 2021.

Bordered by Superior, Menzies and Michigan streets immediately south of the legislative precinct, Capital Park will feature two five-storey government office buildings and ground floor retail spaces. The project’s residential component includes a 53-unit four-storey complex built last year and Capital Park Residences’ 113-units. Several rental apartments are also available within heritage-restored single-family-dwellings on the property converted into multi-unit buildings.

Capital Park’s first phase completed in 2017 with a five-storey, 117,000 square foot office building and the 53-unit rental building. The first phase is also home to a Red Barn Market and the James Bay branch of the Greater Victoria Public Library.

The second phase, now underway, is a near-duplicate office building to the first that is expected to receive its occupancy permit next year.
