780 Blanshard Street is a proposal to construct a 22-storey mixed-use hotel and residential complex within and above the BC Power Commission complex along the 700-block of Blanshard Street between Burdett Avenue and Fairfield Road.
The project's hotel component will be situated within a refurbished four-storey BC Power Commission building, with residential units above as part of an 18-storey tower.

The Vancouver-based developer behind the reimagined Janion building on Store Street plans to hold an open house today to gauge public sentiment about preserving the four-storey art deco building at 780 Blanshard St. and adding an 18-storey residential tower on the site.
The building is currently home to several artists, who pay low rent for work space.
