The Summit at Quadra Village is a four-storey, 320-bed residential and dementia care facility for seniors. The Summit will replace Oak Bay Lodge in Oak Bay and Mt. Tolmie Hospital in Saanich.
The Summit will be operated by the Vancouver Island Health Authority and managed by the Capital Region Housing Corporation.

Compared to many projects in the CoV the development of this piece of land seemed rushed and it shows in the end result. Of course by this measure, whatever ultimately gets built at the Northern Junk site should rival the Taj Mahal for beauty and architectural significance.
