Operators of Victoria Public Market's Roast Meat & Sandwich Shop are expanding their offerings with a second food spot at the market, dubbed Taco Stand.
Slated to open by late November in the space formerly occupied by La Cocina de Mama Oli, itself a Mexican-themed take-out, Taco Stand will encompass ethnic dishes served in a made-as-you-order format similar to Roast's.
Victoria-based Roast recently opened its second location at San Diego, California's Liberty Public Market. The Victoria Public Market's Taco Stand will be the firm's third food services operation.
Victoria Public Market opened in the spring of 2013 in the ground level of the former Hudson's Bay Company department store on Douglas Street in the Hudson District. The market features a variety of eateries and retail operators. C
