An American pizza chain is coming to the Westshore at the Belmont Market Shopping Centre in Langford.
Bellevue, Washington-based MOD Pizza is preparing to open its first Canadian location at the Westshore shopping centre to join recently opened food vendors EDO Japan, Fatburger, Mucho Burrito, and Langford Sushi, among others.
MOD Pizza, with hundreds of locations across the United States and several in the United Kingdom, offers a “superfast pizza experience” with artisan-style pies at one price irrespective of their ingredients. The company also sells custom-made salads.
The chain was founded in the Seattle area in 2008. Its Langford location is on-track to open by late fall or early 2020.
Belmont Market Shopping Centre is part of MyBelmont, a new 22-acre community underway along Jacklin Road at Jenkins Road. In addition to the retail complex anchored by a Thrifty Foods grocery store, MyBelmont’s residential component is comprised of six phases, including the 80% sold-out
Belmont Residences West condominiums targeted at first-time home buyers, working professionals, and downsizers, and two rental buildings known as
Crossing at Belmont.
As part of a burgeoning district within the Westshore, MyBelmont’s residential offerings are quickly garnering attention as an ideal fit for individuals seeking an urban-meets-suburban lifestyle.
