Greater Victoria-based Marker Group is readying to start construction of the company’s fourth condominium development in the booming Town of Sidney.
 
Dubbed The Quartet, the five-storey residence – situated along 4th Street between Beacon and Bevan avenues – is comprised of 19 one, two, and three-bedroom suites along with three ground oriented live-work homes positioned to take advantage of the area’s abundant foot traffic.
 
Mike Cronquist, Marker Group’s Vice President of Development, says The Quartet’s location has resonated with buyers searching for a walkable urban community outside of Victoria’s busy core.

“The price points in Sidney for two-bedroom, three-bedroom and live-work condominium residences offer tangible value relative to similar Victoria offerings considering the seaside location and the walkable town centre,” Cronquist says. 
 
Homes feature nine foot ceilings throughout main living areas while top-floor penthouse ceilings scale to 10’10”. Three ground-oriented live-work spaces are available from $649,900 and range between 1053 square feet to 1,230 square feet with 84 to 255 square foot patios.
 
The Quartet’s luxurious penthouse residences are sized between 1,454 and 1,509 square feet plus spacious 229 square foot balconies. Pricing starts from $824,900.
 
“We’ve been a part of Sidney’s urban revival for over ten years,” Cronquist said, speaking to the changes transforming Sidney’s core from a former commercial hub to a mixed-use community. “The town’s older buildings are being replaced with modern commercial spaces and residences, and the vibrancy that comes with such change is palpable.
