The developer of an
11-storey seniors residence now underway along Admirals Road in Esquimalt is pursuing a second adult-oriented project in the seaside municipality.
Eyed for 819-823 Esquimalt Road, near the intersection of Esquimalt Road and Dunsmuir Road a stone's throw from the Victoria-Esquimalt border, is an
eight-storey complex that could be comprised of over 100 residences.
Developer Avenir Construction Group, which specializes in the construction and management of senior and adult-oriented communities operating across North America, is pursuing a rezoning for a trio of properties currently housing a two-storey commercial building, a single-family residence and a residential duplex.
Esquimalt's popularity as a walkable community adjacent to the BC Capital has propelled demand for its real-estate given the plentiful volume of transit routes connecting the region, walkable neighbourhoods within short proximity to downtown Victoria, and employment opportunities at CFB Esquimalt and the NADEN shipyards.
