Dollar store retailer Dollarama is planning to open its newest Victoria outlet at Vic West's West Side Village shopping centre.

The retailer will begin tenant improvements in a cluster of units situated along the east side the shopping plaza along Tyee Road.

Anchored by a Save-On-Foods grocery store, West Side Village opened in the mid-1990s and has served as the primary commercial node for one of Victoria's fastest growing neighbourhoods. The shopping centre's retailers include a newly opened Browns Crafthouse pub and restaurant, a Big Wheel Burger eatery, a TD Bank branch and a variety of service and retail-based operators.

Dollarma currently operates a number of retail locations throughout the Capital Region with stores in Langford, Saanich, Sidney and Victoria. C
