The third phase of condominiums at Langford’s award-winning #MyBelmont community is on track to start selling this summer, Citified has learned.
Following a successful pre-sales campaign for phase two – which began selling in early 2020 and is currently 94% sold-out of its 85-suites – developer Ledcor Property Investments has announced an accelerated launch of 80 new homes in one and two-bedroom floorplans next to the Belmont Market shopping centre on Kelly Road at Reunion Avenue.
“Phase three is the next generation of #MyBelmont Living, full of innovative features for post-pandemic life,” says Marcela Corzo, Director of Development, Ledcor Property Investments. “Our focus with the upcoming collection of residences has been building on our market-leading interior design and living spaces, and embracing the spirit of community through new-to-Vancouver Island amenities.”
#MyBelmont’s 2021 offering will tap into market demand for two-bedroom layouts through a variety of floorplans suited to emerging market trends and conveniences for work-at-home employment.
Corzo says the Ledcor team has also factored in pre-sale and re-sale qualities that emerged as key selling points during the pandemic. Considerations like flex rooms, state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor amenities and locations with access to nearby nature gave the Capital’s suburban pre-sales distinct advantages.
“Up-market Langford condominiums catered to a wide range of buyers over the last year in search of a mix of urban liveability, easy access to enjoyable green spaces and modern interior design luxuries, all while mitigating the challenges of COVID-19,” Corzo said. “Thanks to larger floorplans and competitive prices, West Shore condos surged in desirability among down-sizers, first-time buyers and people relocating out of the inner city into less busier communities.”
#MyBelmont’s third release is anticipated to unveil residences sized from 700 to 1,200 square feet across five residential levels in junior two-bedroom, two-bedroom, plus one and two-bedroom formats with flex space options well suited for home office setups.
And proposed amenity offerings promise to inject a new level of value among southern Vancouver Island’s pre-sales, Corzo says, albeit remaining tight-lipped on the details.
“We all recognize that life during the pandemic made many of us yearn for socialization and community, and as a celebration of overcoming many challenges throughout the last 18 months, we plan to unveil an amenity offering for our residents that promises to be unlike anything else on Vancouver Island.”
Suite previews are slated for mid-summer, with additional information expected to be released by Ledcor Property Investments in the coming days.
#MyBelmont is a 22-acre community on southern Vancouver Island’s West Shore on lands formerly occupied by Belmont Secondary School. The project’s residential properties will eventually comprise of five phases, including Belmont Residences East with only a handful of homes remaining and its (sold-out) counterpart Belmont Residences West. At build-out, #MyBelmont will feature 520 residences in five condominiums and two rental complexes (completed in 2019 and known as Crossing at Belmont) while enjoying the convenience of a full-service shopping centre anchored by a Thrifty Foods grocery store at the adjacent Belmont Market Shopping Centre.
