Council recessed the public hearing on Tuesday, and will render a decision on the 25th of March.

Council rejected this project on Monday, the 25th. The vote was 5-4.

Councillor Colin Plant voted against this proposal, because “of community fit,” he said.
But at the same time the councillor says “I just checked out a local #yyj news website poll and found this result. I really wonder what this unscientific poll tells us about our collective humanity. Or the media outlet's targeted demographics,” via Twitter.
So rejecting a condominium because “of community fit” is not a problem, but residents upset over BC Housing unilaterally deciding to situate supportive housing bigger than anything else in immediate areas and with an unknown operating model is a challenge to “collective humanity.”
