73-unit affordable housing complex proposed for Carey Road near Uptown Shopping Centre
Nice to see the Heights-Uptown area densifying; in a few more years Saanich might actually have a semblance of a town core....
What I really would like to see at the Heights is Robbin's not "jobbing" visitors for $2 for five hour visits - virtually no one visits a family member at the Heights for five hours, but the option for a loonie for a hour would be ideal. The Heights itself - the actual extended and assisted care building - really could use more parking spaces too. Some days its real Chinese fire drill finding a spot. Consequently many visitors are forced into parking on some of the side streets off Carey Road.
