Address:
Corvette Landing is a proposal for a 12-storey rental complex at the nexus of Constance Avenue, Naden Way and Admirals Road in the municipality of Esquimalt within Victoria's urban core.
The building will be constructed using engineered mass timber materials and designed to Passiv Haus low-energy use specifications.
Initially proposed as a condominium, in December of 2019 the project switched its intended usage as a rental building.

There are several towers in the works in that area, including one southwest of the listed property, and behind the Tudor House Liquor Store. An 11-storey seniors residence is under construction a few properties south on Admirals next to Red Barn.
Is it the future "core" of the downtown? No. That's the Town Hall/Esquimalt Town Square property and Esquimalt Plaza, not Admirals at Naden Way.
The current plans approved for the site are more of an obstacle rather than a shovel-ready project, IMO. They aimed too high, council fell in love with the concept, but the viability of the idea did not come together.

And it was butt-ugly. I think the area has dodged a bullet here.
So if I had to guess, the corvette won't be landing here?
Corvettes don't land, they arrive in port.
