Ontario-based Starlight Investments has proposed 24-units of purpose-built rental housing on vacant land between James Bay’s Charter House and Regent Tower residential highrises.
The three-storey complex, eyed for 415 and 435 Michigan Street, will rise on what is currently a lawn between the 14 and 13-storey towers.
Units will consist of a dozen 523 square foot studio apartments and 12 two-storey, 1,061 square foot urban townhomes with private rooftop terraces.
Parking is already situated on-site in the form of surface stalls behind the proposed construction site.
Pending municipal approvals by early 2018, construction is expected to completed by mid-to-late 2019. C
