Computer parts retailer and tech gadget technical service depot Memory Express is opening its first Vancouver Island store this fall.
Coming soon to a strip mall along Blanshard Street at Hillside Avenue north of downtown Victoria, Memory Express will assume a retail space in a complex home to a Boston Pizza restaurant, a BC Liquor Store and a Tim Hortons restaurant among other retailers.
Calgary-based Memory Express operates multiple locations in Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta, four locations in the Metro Vancouver area and single stores in both Winnipeg, Manitoba and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
The move will infuse computer parts retail competition to the south Island which is dominated by Best Buy, London Drugs and multiple independent dealers. C
