The Pacific Centre Family Services Association (PCFSA) has unveiled plans for a 15,000 square foot community services facility at Colwood Corners on the Westshore.
The two-storey Pacific Centre for Wellbeing, slated for 324 Goldstream Avenue in Colwood, will accommodate PCFSA's programming and services on the top floor with ground floor commercial space, totalling some 7,200 square feet, available for lease by health and wellness professionals.
"We're going to create a wellness hub that's a really therapeutic environment," said PCFSA Executive Director Mitzi Dean.
The sale of another property will cover a portion of centre's development costs, however, approximately $1.5 million is actively being sought from all levels of government, local businesses, foundations and members of the public to help finance the remainder.
Individuals interested in learning more about the PCFSA and its funding efforts are asked to contact Mtizi Dean at 250-886-2481 or via http://www.pacificcentrefamilyservices.org. C
