Danish home goods and furniture big-box retailer JYSK has set sights on Vancouver Island as the company embarks on an aggressive expansion across Canada.
Although no concrete location details have been revealed, a company representative has confirmed southern Vancouver Island is a targeted region for a 2017 opening.
A potential Victoria location would double JYSK’s Vancouver Island store count and push it’s province-wide total to ten.
JYSK has stores in Nanaimo, Kamloops, Kelowna, Prince George and five locations throughout Metro Vancouver, where the company’s Canadian operations are headquartered. The retailer has 53 locations across the country and over 2,200 around the world. C
