A three-building redevelopment proposal on lands currently occupied by a Fas Gas gas station along the Pat Bay Highway at Sayward Road has been submitted to the District of Saanich.
Urban Design Group Architects, on behalf of the developer, envision a Chevron gas station situated along the Pat Bay Highway frontage of the property and a 2,115 square foot single-storey commercial building to the south of the gas bar.
Along the western portion of the site a two-building, one-storey complex totalling just under 3,700 square feet will include an A&W restaurant with a drive-through and an On the Run convenience store.
Parking for 30 vehicles will be accommodated as part of the development, which spans from the Pat Bay Highway to Hamsterly Road along Sayward Road.
Pending municipal approvals the project could proceed as early as next year. C
