View Royal’s Skyeview condominium project is down to its final pre-sale suite as the 37-unit development transitions from excavation to construction status.
Rising along the 200-block of Old Island Highway between Admirals and Helmcken roads, four-storey Skyeview has sold through all but one pre-sale home as part of TLA Developments’ pre-completion sales component, with nine residences earmarked for release upon the anticipated completion in Summer 2022.
“Skyeview has been an exceptionally well received pre-sale offering on southern Vancouver Island, and we’re down to a single pre-sale residence before we conclude our sales and marketing campaign for pre-built inventory,” said Chris Bradley, TLA Developments co-founder.
Last fall Skyeview surpassed a 70% sold status that put it on track for reaching a 75% sold-out target by the New Year, effectively ending TLA’s sales campaign until move-in ready inventory will hit the market in approximately eight months.
Sized at 796 square feet, 'suite 102' is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom home with one of Skyeview's most desirable floorplans offering an expansive 350 square foot ground level patio perfect for entertaining, pets, children and container gardening. Priced at $599,900, the home is a hallmark offering that won’t last long.
“We’re fortunate to be culminating our pre-sales campaign with this last beautiful home,” Bradley said. “Ground floor, large terraced homes are exceptionally rare in the Capital Region, and they are highly sought after by people with pets or young children who are looking for a private outdoor space in a condominium setting.”
In terms of finishings, TLA co-founder and Bradley’s partner Troy Grant says Skyeview’s interiors offer high quality materials and workmanship, with modern comforts and new-build flair homebuyers have come to expect among Victoria’s pre-sale projects.
“Attainable price point certainly doesn’t mean forgoing luxuries or up-market materials,” Grant said. “Our goal with Skyeview has been to help bridge the gap between renting and homeownership, and to do so without compromising on space and function, durable flooring and surfaces, energy efficiency and high-grade interior design details.”
Each unit comes with a parking stall, with parking capacity allocated between a convenient surface lot and an underground parkade. Homes also include storage, access to a bicycle locker and the building is designed with pets in mind.
