I remember that Tillicum was mulling residential construction in the parking lots. Was that around 2005, or did that come later?

Some sleuthing shows that the Tillicum-Burnside Action Plan was endorsed by Saanich Council in 2005.

There was some talk around 2010 of Rio Can moving the Montana’s and building S shaped residential along the Burnside portion of their parking lot. Our strata was approached, unofficially I think, regarding a potential land swap.

One day that whole 5 acre Parkside Place lot will be levelled and something better will come.
