Luxury Inner Harbour residences along the West Bay Marina waterfront will officially hit the market later this month, Citified has learned.
Developer Tenfold Projects recently unveiled the three-building, 85-unit Westbay Quay complex – featuring a mix of one and two-bedroom suites and a collection of exclusive harbourside penthouses – geared towards buyers seeking uniquely situated and apportioned ‘collector real-estate’ homes, a term used in reference to up-market, one-of-a-kind properties.
Developer Max Tomaszewski says the project’s ideal location, coupled with Tenfold’s forward-living mantra that epitomized the company’s efforts at its nearly sold-out The Wade development, will deliver a future-focused community along the shores of Victoria’s iconic Inner Harbour.
“At the very core of what we do is a concept we refer to as forward living,” Tomaszewski said.
“The underlying motivation behind the work we do puts our buyer’s health and wellness at the forefront of our priorities, which we build through environmental and health-conscious interior finishings and materials, a human-scaled approach to living spaces, and a philosophy that what we’re really building is quality of life.”
Westbay Quay’s location, at the nexus of Head, Gore and Lyall streets in Esquimalt, maximizes views towards downtown Victoria, the Salish Sea and the Olympic Mountain range. And celebrating its coastal presence, Tomaszewski says, is the project’s ‘water is life’ promotional positioning that “communicates Tenfold’s philosophy and Westbay Quay’s sense of place.”
The development’s three buildings, known as the six-storey Sapphire, the five-storey Topaz and the two-storey Lapis, feature all-concrete construction with premium hardwood and Italian ceramic flooring, quartz counters with full-height locally-sourced glass tile backsplashes, customizable appliance packages and expansive metal-framed windows to maximize views.
Residents will enjoy access to the Westsong Walkway marine trail that originates at the marina and connects to downtown Victoria along the harbour. The neighbourhood’s commercial services at Head and Esquimalt streets are plentiful and offer dining, shopping, a liquor store, even a Shoppers Drug Mart open daily to midnight. And Westbay Quay's ground floor commercial component is earmarked for a restaurant and a cafe.
Parking is in the form of an underground parkade and stalls are allocated to all 85 suites.
By-appointment sales at the Westbay Quay show suite (situated at 453 Head Street) start this Saturday, October 28th and walk-in sales a day later on Sunday, October 29th. Buyers wishing to schedule a one-on-one meeting with a Tenfold Projects sales associate are encouraged to call 250-384-2771. The show suite is open Saturday-through-Thursday, noon-to-5PM. C
