Pet supply chain Mr. Pet’s has announced it will resurrect a shuttered Tillicum Centre retail space only months ago home to Pet Culture.
The Metro Vancouver-based retailer operates six stores across the lower Mainland, one in St. Albert, Alberta and has upcoming locations in both Chilliwack and Victoria.
Pet Culture closed down in April, along with 26 of its counterparts across Canada, as part of a corporate restructuring. The beleaguered retailer had assumed its Tillicum Centre space previously occupied by the defunct Petcetera chain.
Mr. Pet’s is expected to open later this summer between Save-on-Foods and Coast Capital Savings along Tillicum Centre’s Tillicum Road frontage. Meanwhile work continues on a Lowe’s Home Improvement store where Tillicum Centre’s short-lived Target Canada was situated. C
