Haunted Houses
Carnevil Haunted House - Saanich
This 6,000 square foot show of horrors is a mainstay of Galey Farm’s Festival of Fear Halloween festivities, and this year it includes new features plus three “chicken” exits in the event things get a little …uncomfortable.

Evil Acres - North Saanich
Evil Acres is now Monsters Haunted House - Fear on the Pier and is no longer located in North Saanich. The best thing is, no more muddy fields! See the entry for Monsters House (below) for more information.
Haunted House - Saanich
Galey Farms has a haunted house setup specifically for children. It’s not quite as terror inducing as the Carnevil Haunted House, but it’ll spook the kids!

NEW Heritage Haunted House - Saanich
A heck of a creepy haunted house setup in support of the Help Fill a Dream Foundation. Small kids and large cowards can collect their candy at the door. The brave will step inside.

Monsters House - Fear on the Pier - Victoria
James Bay’s Ogden Point is transformed into a haunted house full of real actors who’ll appear just when you least expect it. Formerly known as Evil Acres (which was situated in a warehouse in North Saanich), Monsters Haunted House is hands down the creepiest, bone-tingling Halloween experience on the south Island.

Pumpkin Express at Heritage Acres - Central Saanich
Geared towards the younger crowd, Pumpkin Express at Heritage Acres includes pumpkin carving, a haunted house, face painting and other activities for children.

Quadra Village Carnival and Creep-house - Victoria
This by donation event features carnival games for kids, a witches lair (oooh!), even a zombie shooting gallery. This will definitely put kids in the Halloween mood.

Corn Mazes
Cornfield of Horror - Saanich
This fully animated corn maze at Galey Farms Festival of Fear includes a Haunted Mansion, Pirates Island, the Addams Graveyard and a whole slew of other displays.

Vancouver Island Corn Maze - North Saanich
This is the largest corn maze on Vancouver Island and a perfect Halloween event for the whole family. Things tend to get a little creepy after dark, though.

Tours
Ghost Bus Tours - Oak Bay departure
Two-hour tours in a comfortable chartered coach will whisk you away to Victoria’s haunted hotspots outside of the downtown core. Tours are narrated by John Adams of Victoria’s Old Cemeteries Society.

Epic Escape - Victoria
Not quite Halloween themed, but the Epic Escape “from New York City” sets you up in an apartment from which you have to escape before time runs outs. It’s exciting and a little nerve-wrecking, and definitely a fitting challenge in the run-up to Halloween.
