Cox Developments’ two-tower 989 condominium project has entered its final sales phase with the release of units in the east tower, Citified has learned.
Comprised of 48 homes, 989’s 17-storey east tower will rise two levels above it’s 15-storey counterpart at the intersection of Johnson and Vancouver streets in downtown Victoria’s Harris Green district.
“With the east tower our goal has been to offer larger homes and the opportunity to secure penthouse suites with unobstructed views towards the Salish Sea, over downtown Victoria and vistas to the north and east,” says project developer Dax Cox.
One-bedroom homes in the east tower are priced from $475,000 and include a parking stall. Floorplans range between 611 and 663 square feet and offer balconies sized between 49 and 57 square feet.
Two-bedroom, two bath homes with southeast exposures are sized at 837 square feet with 56 square foot balconies. Pricing starts at $625,000.
989 is a 206-unit condominium development situated along the 900-block of Johnson Street. The project features a unit mix of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and penthouse homes. A ground floor commercial component will yield several retail spaces fronting onto Johnson and Vancouver streets.
Under construction since last summer, Cox estimates project completion and resident move-ins will occur by late 2018. C
