Harbour-to-harbour catamaran operator V2V Vacations has unveiled a much anticipated fare structure for the company’s upcoming service between Victoria’s Inner Harbour and downtown Vancouver.

The base rate for a one-way crossing aboard the 254-passenger V2V Empress will cost adults $120 and children $60, plus tax. Adult and child First Class and Royal Class fares will ring in at $199 and $240, respectively.

V2V will also offer vacation and travel packages based on two travellers and a return fare, such as an airport package from Victoria that includes a one-night stay at Richmond’s River Rock Casino Resort, priced at $709. Concert packages with overnight accommodations in downtown Vancouver start at $729.

For the luxury travel segment, two-night getaways in the Capital City will range from $1,469 to just below $1,900.

The daily service launches May 1st with departures from Vancouver (at the Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre near Canada Place) scheduled for 8AM and Victoria departures (from the pier in front of the Steamship Building on Belleville Street) at 2PM. Sailings take approximately three-and-a-half hours. C
