Cox Developments plans to move forward on its fourth downtown Victoria residential tower next spring, according to developer Dan Cox.
Construction of the 10-storey, 37-unit residential mid-rise with ground floor retail space at 1088 Johnson Street – which may rise as a condo building or as a purpose-built rental – is scheduled to start in May as crews push ahead with its adjacent 13-storey purpose-built rental counterpart, 1075 Pandora.
With a spring start, completion would occur by late 2018 or by early 2019.
Cox Developments is currently overseeing two development sites on the eastern end of downtown Victoria totalling 343 residential units.
The largest, dubbed 989, involves two towers of 15 and 17-storeys and 205-units of condos in the 900-block of Johnson Street. Sales will be launching later this month.
1075 Pandora, at Pandora Avenue and Cook Street, will add just under 140-units of purpose-built rental apartments across 13 floors.
Both 989 and 1075 Pandora include ground floor commercial spaces. C
