obviously every higihrise in the westshore that was supposed to happen didnt, and highly doubt any will ever go through, I see 3-4 story sprawl for langfords future and individual homes for colwood :(

This project has been downscaled for the third time.
It started out as a 40+ -storey tower, then morphed into two towers of 31- and 21-storeys, and now it is apparently moving forward as two 4-storey condos.
The project is now dubbed "Pacific View."

I know it's easy for me to say it now, but it seemed completely unrealistic that all of these towers should shoot up in that area and BM.
It just seemed insane when I leaned about the proposals. I remember thinking to myself many times: "This is crazy!" and "How is this possible?" I guess it isn't possible.

Yeah, out of the dozen or so highrise proposals in Langford and Colwood from a few years ago all that got built was a single one at Bear Mountain, Finlayson Reach.

Three years ago I would have bet a donut that they were going to get one impressive modern tower and that it would be standing alone for many years afterward.
But they didn't even get that.
They'll get some eventually.
